Learning Mentor Training 2020/21
WETSA are excited to offer Learning Mentor Training facilitated by Jonathan Bond. This unique opportunity will include 3 full days training and 3 half day progress meetings. There are very limited spaces available.
Course facilitator: Jonathan Bond
This 6 session programme will help LSAs or TAs or those interested in helping young people fulfil their potential to develop the skills to work in a Learning Mentor capacity to support vulnerable students. It is also suitable for those who already fulfil a Learning Mentoring role.
Day one- Why children behave as they do
Day two- How to mentor (1)
Day three- How to mentor (2)
3 progress meetings include:
Review of pupil progress, problem solving, practical ideas for common issues
